A DeKalb County burglary investigation turned into adrug bust last week. The sheriff’s office says investigators were searching the residence of 65-year-old Tommy George Lowery regarding burglaries in the Geraldine and Oak Hill areas. They say they found several controlled substances, including methamphetamine, marijuana, Klonopin, Zanax and Valium. Lowery was arrested on charges of possessing a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was being held in the DeKalb County Detention Center with no bond set.
