New DeKalb superintendent

The new superintendent of the DeKalb County Board of Education officially takes over this week. The board meets tomorrow and one of Hugh Taylor’s first priorities is to find someone to take his former position of principal at Ruhama Junior High in Fort Payne. There is also an opening for a principal at Plainview School in Rainsville. Taylor, a Republican, was elected to replace Democrat Charles Warren, who is retiring after 12 years as superintendent.
