Gun stolen, three arrested

Another three arrests by Etowah County Sheriff’s deputies, this time in connection with a gun stolen from a county drug enforcement agent. A driver’s license checkpoint on Alabama 77 last Saturday resulted in the recovery of the .45 caliber Kimber automatic pistol taken in November from the agent’s vehicle. Authorities say the driver, 29-year-old Jeremy Mark McCurry of Steele, gave false information and was arrested along with 24-year-old Jonathan Dawon Davis of Attalla, who had current warrants. 31-year-old Mary Camp Corrothers of Rainbow City was arrested when the gun was found in the car.
