Traffic stops, drug busts

A Crossville teenager had marijuana in his sock, which was discovered after he was arrested during a traffic stop on Alabama Highway 68 at Dekalb County Road 478 on Tuesday. A sheriff’s deputy says a search of 18-year-old Rogelio Juan Santiago’s vehicle had already turned up marijuana and spice and beer. In a separate incident Tuesday, a variety of prescription drugs were found in a vehicle stopped by an office in Fyffe. 49-year-old Glenn Wayne Childress of Dawson and 36-year-old Jamie Lynn Harrell of Rainsville were arrested.
