Hazardous weather outlook
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of Alabama including the counties of Marshall, DeKalb, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee and Blount. A strong cold front will move across the north and central portion of the state late tonight and early tomorrow morning with a squall line of strong to severe thunderstorms. The primary threat will be damaging winds up to 70 miles an hour. Any breaks in the squall line might produce a few tornadoes.
