The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for an area including Marshall and DeKalb counties. It will be in effect from 7 AM tomorrow through 7 AM Sunday. Rainfall amounts of two to four inches are expected over the next two days. Locations along rivers and creeks that are currently running higher than normal from recent heavy rainfall will likely be the first to experience flooding issues. Already saturated ground means that much of the rain that falls this weekend will become runoff.
