Tuition increase possible
The cost of higher education could go higher. University of Alabama trustees are set to consider a proposal that could increase tuition by nearly three percent for the upcomiong academic year. The board of trustees meets tomorrow and is expected to consider tuition hikes for each of the system’s three campuses at Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Huntsville. Tuition for full-time undergraduate and graduate students who attend the main campus would increase 125 dollars per semester; 500 dollars for out-of-state students.
