Guntersville Ordinanced Passed
Guntersville Council passed a couple of new ordinances this week. One gives the prosecutor discretion and greater leeway in arranging for community service, as well as in levying fees, depending on the circumstances. And the other would require that growers and sellers at farmer’s markets have to be in separate booths so buyers aren’t confused about where the produce comes from. The sellers who are not local growers will also be allowed to work with vendors from adjoining counties in preparing food for sale with ingredients that are not produced locally.
