Gasden Stores Improving on Alcohol Sales to Minors

Gadsden police and the State Alcoholic Beverage Control Board sent minors into stores that sell alcohol to see if they could catch clerks looking the other way, and found most businesses complying with the letter of the law. They sent kids into 11 stores last week and only 4 of them were sold alcohol, with the clerks at those places arrested. Last year they did the same thing and 12 places were busted for selling alcohol to minors. They figure store operators are getting the message.
