Falling enrollment at JSU

Enrollment at Jacksonville State University has dropped to its lowest point in 15 years. The Anniston Star says the school enrolled 8,314 students this semester, which is the lowest in 15 years, and it’s the fifth-straight year that the school’s enrollment has dropped. The University is looking for a VP of enrollment management. School officials have noted a couple of reasons for the school’s dropping student population, including the increasing cost of college, as there’s been a drop in financial aid.
