Bats Dying From Fungus

A disease affecting bats nationwide now infecting bats in Alabama. It’s called white-nose syndrome and bats in a cave in Shelby county have it. It’s a fungus, and it’s killed five million bats nationwide. And if you say, ‘bats are creepy, who cares.’ It is a big deal. Fewer bats means more bugs…bugs that are eating crops and causing damage.
