State To Make More Money Selling Liquor

The state wants to make more money when you drink liquor. The Alcohol board is raising the mark-up on every bottle up to 35%. It’s 30% now. That will raise about 8.2 million — most of that going to district attorneys and about 2-million for the court system. So, DA’s that prosecute drunk drivers and courts that hear those cases, will, ironically, be getting much of their funding — from booze.
