Two Gadsden women ran from police Tuesday morning in a stolen car and ended up driving it into a pond. A Sardis officer tried to stop the car for speeding but the woman would not stop– doing about 120 trying to get away. In Blount county, deputies put down spike strips to puncture the tires, the driver lost control and drove into a pond. The women swam away, hid in woods, finally located by blood hounds. 25 year old Kayla Schoelein and 25 year old Syliva Cofield arrested.
