Each site contains a section explaining what type jobs are available in a broadcast station and how to apply. An additional area describes how to access our internship program which is open to anyone age 16 or above. Available positions are also posted in this section as openings arise.

12/6/04 Programming: Announcer / Production Director (xxxxxxx ) 
Promoted part-time employee to cover for employee activated by National Guard and sent to Iraq on short notice. * It is anticipated that both employees will return to their original positions when the activation ends.

5/23/05 Programming / Sales: (xxxxxxx )
* This hire was a necessary replacement for a current on air & sales employee at our smaller AM station that employees only two full time programming people. It was not possible to openly recruit for this position.

9/6/05 Sales: (xxxxxxx ) 
* Hire resulted from referral by friend who heard on air announcements.

The following two positions resulted from splitting the duties of a long time employee that resigned without notice. Due to the abrupt departure there was not time to conduct the usual out reach program to cover these positions.

10/31/05 Programming: Announcer (xxxxxxx )
Part Time employee was promoted to full time to cover shift.
** Due to announcer leaving without notice, this position was filled without recruitment.

10/31/05 Sales Position: (xxxxxxx ) 
** Due to sales person leaving without notice, this position was filled by the next most qualified candidate from the just completed 9/6/05 "sales position" recruiting effort. Recruitment sources used for that effort follow.
* Hire resulted from on air announcements & station web site information.
