   Seventy announcements were aired on each station (WQSB, WAVU, WKXX) Between 7/8/08 and 7/14/08 urging groups who might wish to be notified of employment openings at our company to ask for automatic notification of future positions. No responses were received.

Each site contains a section explaining what type jobs are available in a broadcast station and how to apply. An additional area describes how to access our internship program, which is open to anyone age 16 or above. Available positions are also posted in this section as openings arise.

Station On-Air Promotion (Morning Mix Casting Call)
In an effort to interest listeners and area residents in Radio as a career, we staged a job search in the form of a reality contest to locate a part-time morning co-host for WKXX. Applicants were narrowed to a field of 10 candidates, interviewed, and scheduled for a series of guest appearances with the host over a 3 month period. Each appearance focused on different responsibilities of an air staff member to including; show prep, choice of topics, production, interviewing, and other co-host duties. The project has yielded a number of new talents. One will be hired as the co-host, several others will be added to our commercial voice talent pool and prospect list for future hires. Event dates October, November, December 2008.

               * No recruiting effort was staged. XXXXXXX returned to full-time employment after filing in for a maternity leave. XXXXXXX was originally hired as a full-time employee in a recruiting effort staged 7/9/07.
