Listener Comments

I wanted to take a minute to thank y'all for streaming scoreboard on the Internet.  I grew in Fort Payne and later went to college in Birmingham.  It was always fun for several guys to sit around and listen to scoreboard and keep up with our different home teams and what was going on in high school football around the state.  I have since moved to Colorado and still enjoy scoreboard on Friday nights.  There is no longer a group to sit around and enjoy the scores and interviews but all the same I look forward to it each week.  I am sure many people appreciate what you guys do and you hear it often but I wanted to chime in also.  I have listened to scoreboard since I was a little kid.  Now it allows me to remember home and enjoy knowing what is going on for the people I grew up with.  Some folks have soul food to remind them of where they came from, other have...well, scoreboard.  Hearing those same voices every fall as the weather grows colder (much faster here in Colorado than back home) is an element of comfort.  Thank you again and I hope that for many years to come scoreboard will remain a Friday night tradition.
Sincerely,
Peter, now living in Colorado
Hey,
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate being able to listen to the radio over the internet.  I have recently moved out of the country to go to school.  I was about to go crazy listing to the local radio stations, being a "country" girl I desperately needed some country music back in my life.  When I am feeling homesick or just want to know what is going on around home, I put on WQSB, bringing some Alabama to Antigua.  I now fall asleep listening to the same station as if I were in my own bed at home.  So here is my thanks to all of the wonderful staff.

Just wanted to tell you that we have listened to your high school scoreboard for years.  All of you are great and do a wonderful job of keeping us sports fan informed and entertained.  Keep up the fantastic work!
The Pitts Family of Fyffe

WQSB, I wrote you earlier requesting you to play the fight song of Plainview by the PHS band.  I heard it and thank you!  WQSB rocks!
