What Type Jobs Are Available In A Radio Station?

We employ people in the following areas.
Programming: Includes on air, producing commercials, DJ Services, and personal appearances.
News & Sports: Includes covering local events and play by play announcing.
Advertising: Business to business marketing through commercial advertising.
Office: General office and receptionist duties.
Technical: Instillation and repair of computers, networks, audio, and radio frequency transmitters & equipment.
Maintenance: General janitorial, grounds keeping, and bush-hoging.

How Do I Get My First Job In A Radio Station?

We have a limited number of internships available at any given time. These are non paid positions that give you an opportunity to see what it takes to work in a winning radio station. Though most of our jobs require previous experience, some of our current staff actually began as interns. To discuss a possible internship contact Tommy Lee (256) 878-8575.

Part-Time Announcer: We are accepting applications for a Part Time Announcer and board operator. Previous experience in commercial radio is preferred but not required. Applicants must provide  resume, references and air-check if available. Applicants must be able to work weekends, holidays, be reliable, detail oriented, willing to accept responsibility, and represent the station in a professional manner.
